Sr. Financial Analyst - Atlanta, GA
WestRock isseeking a Sr. Financial Analyst who will be an integral member of the VictoryPackaging Finance Team.
The Sr. Financial Analyst will support the preparationof various analytics, forecasts and budgets.
This role will be responsible forcollecting and analyzing financial data to ensure timely and accuratecompletion and presentation of mill financial results and forecasts.
This rolewill also help to identify drivers affecting performance and results.
How you willimpact WestRock:
Provide analytical support and help identify, track and improve key drivers affecting performance and results.
Active involvement in the forecasting, budgeting and consolidation of monthly results.
Support the monthly close process by gathering, analyzing and presenting financial data to inform management of operational results and business developments/direction.
Review price and volume trends and identify drivers of the variances vs. forecast and budget.
Assist with developing reports required to provide financial insight for key stakeholders.
Assist in devising enhancements to team processes to increase forecasting accuracy and automate processes where possible, including leveraging the Alteryx automation platform.
What youneed to succeed:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
2-5 years of experience.
Must be self-starting/self-motivated and able to work independently.
Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have a sense of urgency to complete tasks accurately and on time.
Good communication skills including the ability to interact credibly with management and leadership levels.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Experience in Hyperion Essbase, JD Edwards and/or Kronos and PeopleSoft a plus.
