Description

How Will You Impact Victory Packaging, a WestRock company"

  • Schedule inbound appointments

  • Completing good receptions in the system

  • Coordinating and managing dock activity - checking in trucks upon arrival, managing sign in sheets, assigning dock doors, distributing paperwork to warehouse team, etc.

  • Preparing receiving paperwork for the warehouse team to complete the unloading process

  • Identifying items requiring quality checks prior to storing away

  • Work with inventory control to manage store away locations as materials are received

  • Collaborate with the replenishment team to assess, manage, and prioritize inbound shipments to mitigate delays and enable high customer satisfaction.

  • Notify AP & Replenishment team of discrepancies with inbound shipments

  • Assist in calling customers as needed

  • Assisting with completing system functions and paperwork from shipping

  • Completing BOL's/Shipping labels for 3rd party carrier shipments

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Hours: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday – Friday

  • Overtime as necessary

  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • One or more-year(s) experience coordinating shipments in a shipping/receiving clerk position preferred

  • 3+ years in an administrative support or customer service role preferred

  • Great written and verbal communication skills with ability to adjust communication style and interact across all levels of the organization

  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to adapt and quickly respond to unforeseen changes

  • well organized with great time management skills to manage the execution of multiple priorities

  • General fluency in English required, verbal and written

  • Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or scheduled form

  • Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodations

  • Strong Computer skills – Microsoft Office, email, etc

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time as a primary job responsibility

  • Observance of established safety guidelines in conducting physical work activity duties

  • Wear protective equipment as required

  • Work in a warehouse/distribution environment
