Victory Packaging Maintenance Mechanic in San Antonio, Texas

Description

A Maintenance Mechanic repairs equipment, fabricate parts, and maintain parts inventory associated with all equipment.

Essential Functions/Job Duties:

  • Make necessary repairs to all equipment when needed

  • Fabricate parts and structures for machinery and equipment

  • Operate metal working machinery that will include and not limited to: band saw, lathe and welder.

  • Count and maintain spare parts inventory

  • Source parts when needed and follow mandated purchase order requirements

  • Work with outside contractors when required.

Additional Functions/Job Duties:

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Must have mechanical knowledge with regards to motors, bearings, and gears.

  • Basic understanding of electrical circuits and power requirements.

  • Welding and fabrication skills

  • Knowledge of proper safety requirements

  • Basic computer skills
