Victory Packaging Production Manager-2nd Shift in San Antonio, Texas

Description

Manage staff, prepare work schedules and assign specific duties.

  • Ability to work 2nd shift 9pm-7am.

  • Determine staffing requirements, interview, hire and train new employees and oversee those personnel processes.

  • Completes production plan(s) by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; resolving problems.

  • Communicate job expectations, coaching, and disciplining employees.

  • Maintain raw material inventory.

  • Analyze production performance.

  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

  • Maintain employee compliance with established policies and procedures.

  • Ensure quality service by establishing and enforcing quality standards.

  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

  • Forklift experience a plus.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or equivalent.

  • Course work in Business Management, Industrial Management or related field preferred.

  • One or more year(s) experience as a Production Supervisor.

  • General fluency in English required, verbal and written.

  • Basic computer literacy required.
